On the afternoon of November 28, 2023, Ma Jia, an alumnus of the Mechanical Manufacturing major in Class 87 of our university and the director of the Intelligent Cockpit at the Ideal Automotive Engineering Technology Center, and his delegation visited the Engineering Training Center for research and exchange. Zheng Fusheng, Secretary of the Party Committee of the college, Ding Liantao, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, and Liu Peng, Vice Dean and Deputy Director of the Engineering Training Center, accompanied the research and exchange.
The center teacher provided a detailed introduction to the basic situation of the Engineering Training Center, with a focus on the characteristics and highlights of teaching philosophy, educational features, curriculum system, teaching staff, and teaching achievements.
Subsequently, Ma Jia and his team walked into the engineering training center, where they received high praise for the laboratory construction and practical teaching of the center, from machining centers, intelligent manufacturing, laser processing to CNC machining, competitive robots, multi line linkage and other practical teaching places. At the same time, they also sighed at the huge changes in the engineering training center on site and reminisced about their youth when they once dealt with metal hammers.
After the survey, both parties expressed their intention to strengthen cooperation and explore efficient ways to closely integrate enterprise needs with talent cultivation in engineering training centers, and to carry out diversified and deep level close cooperation in a timely manner.
