On July 2nd, Academician Gennady Vladimirovich Kustarev, Vice President of the Russian Academy of Engineering, and his delegation visited the Engineering Training Center of Jilin University. Ding Liantao, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, and Liu Peng, Deputy Director and Vice Dean of the Engineering Training Center, along with Professor Liu Chunbao, received the delegation.
The staff of the center warmly welcomed Academician Kustarev's visit and provided him with a detailed introduction to the development history, platform construction, and teaching characteristics of the Engineering Training Center. Academician Kustarev successively visited the center's machining centers, intelligent manufacturing, CNC machining, special processing, robotics, mechatronics, and 3D printing training classrooms.
Academician Kustarev fully recognized the center's construction achievements and had in-depth exchanges with the Chinese side on topics such as advanced manufacturing technology and scientific and technological innovation. It is expected that both parties will take this meeting as an opportunity to continue exploring advanced manufacturing equipment technology and talent cultivation concepts in the future, deepen the connotation of cooperation, strengthen complementary advantages, and further promote the exchange and cooperation between China and Russia.
