In order to implement the work deployment of the "Hundred Day Campaign" for school safety production, the Engineering Training Center invited Wang Zhonggang, the head of the Fire Department of the East District Comprehensive Office, to the center on the afternoon of October 6, 2022 to provide fire safety education to the faculty and staff, and to practice emergency plans for responding to sudden fires and the use of dry powder fire extinguishers. Professor Liu Peng, Deputy Director of the Center and Vice Dean of the School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, led the center's faculty and staff to participate in this event. The leaders of the campus logistics group and some employees also went to the site for observation and drills.
Through this fire safety education and emergency drill, the fire safety awareness of all employees in the center has been enhanced, and their sense of responsibility for various safety work has been strengthened. The center will always adhere to the principle of "safety first, prevention oriented", firmly establish the leading ideology of "people-oriented" and "safety is the lifeline of all work", eliminate various safety hazards, effectively ensure the safe operation of the center's work, and ensure the safety of the lives and property of teachers and students and the stability of the campus.
